Hale-based marketing communications consultancy Peppermint PR has been nominated in three categories at The Fresh PR Awards 2010. Currently in their second year, The Fresh PR Awards showcase the talent and creativity of the regional PR industry. Peppermint PR’s Red Recession Dress campaign for The Big Discount Store has been shortlisted for the following awards: Freshest Consumer Campaign or Event, Freshest Low Budget PR Campaign and Freshest PR Stunt. The campaign received extensive press coverage across national and regional press and saw the retailer experience a 50% rise in sales during the week of its launch, with traffic to its shopping website up by 230%. Suzy Glaskie, founder and joint-managing director at Peppermint PR, said: “The Red Recession Dress campaign was hugely successful in generating a significant return on investment for our client and we’re delighted to see it shortlisted for so many awards.” The Fresh PR entries will be judged by a select panel, headed by one of the UK’s most illustrious PR consultants, Mark Borkowski. The winners will be announced at the Fresh PR event due to take place on March 4th at the Deansgate Hilton Hotel, Manchester. |
