Sweet Success at Peppermint PR

Life is sweet at Peppermint PR following the award-winning communications consultancy’s appointment by innovative confectionary brand Goody Good Stuff. Peppermint will help roll-out the all-natural, gelatine-free range of sweets in the UK.

Free from artificial colours and flavours, Goody Good Stuff’s sweets have been 15 years in development. They are also gluten-free, fat-free, meat-free, soy-free, nut-free and dairy-free, plus suitable for those following halal, kosher, vegetarian and vegan diets.

In under a year, Goody Good Stuff has expanded distribution of the range across the UK to over 5000 shops, including high street retailers Holland & Barrett, Booths and Waitrose. Outside the UK, the award-winning sweets are currently exported to 19 markets including America, Sweden, Singapore, Dubai and Hong Kong.

The Hale-based consultancy will be responsible for raising Goody Good Stuff’s profile across national and regional media, in addition to specialist trade press.

Meanwhile, sister company Peppermint Digital has been tasked with developing a website to support and complement an international PR campaign in the UK and US.

Jean–Philippe Glaskie, joint managing director of Peppermint PR, commented: “Goody Good Stuff is a fantastic brand to work with and is all set to shake up the confectionary market. In addition to a far-ranging media relations campaign, we’re delighted to be working on a trans-Atlantic digital project to spread the word about the brand.”

The account win strengthens Peppermint’s highly-regarded consumer arm, adding to clients such as Home Bargains, Envirofone and Sound Asleep.
